Insurance: There can be significant differences between general medical insurance coverage and behavioral health. Typically, you will need to call a number on the back of the insurance card to obtain pre-authorization. While we are on a number of insurance panels, you should check to see if we are on your insurances list. If not, we will be glad to work with you to arrange out of network benefits and file your claims. Please note that if you choose to use insurance, managed care companies often require a considerable amount of information about the content of your private sessions. When you choose to use a fee-for-service (non insurance-private pay) option, your confidentiality is at the highest level and no reports are made to a insurance information database.
FEES AND PAYMENT: Payment is due upon service for private-pay therapy clients. Payment plans are available. All fees for psychological assessments and testing must be paid in full before we will release the report. Assessment and testing fees include both "face to face" time and professional time to prepare the report. Because we have reserved the time for you, we will charge a cancellation fee of the cost of the appointment if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours in advance of the time of the appointment.
